Die Entstehungsgeschichte

Als Ace of Base noch Musik machten und Pornobalken salonfähig waren, wurden sie tief in den 1990er Jahren aus der Wiege gehoben. Die Sportfreunde Wimmer nahmen ihr mehr oder minder sportliches Treiben auf den Volleyballfeldern in 18*** auf. Graduell um Sportasse, Überflieger und Sprücheklopfer erweitert, kristallisierte sich bald das Herzstück der Truppe heraus – die Wimmer. Ohne sie wären die   Sportfreunde eine haltlose Masse. Sportfreunde wie jeder andere Sportfreund. Nur sie macht uns zu den Sportfreunden Wimmer , die kein Turnier, keine Blamage und kein Geburtstagsschnäppchen scheuen, um sich selbst zu feiern. Wir mögen uns, unseren Sport (wir praktizieren im übrigen Volleyball) und unsere ehemalige Chefin.

Leider musste die Sportfreundin Wimmer im Jahre 2010 Ihre sportlichen Aktivitäten aus gesundheitlichen Gründen beenden. Aufgrund ihres langjährigen Engagements werden wir als Sportgemeinschaft weiterhin ihren Namen tragen.
